About Hands to Mind Montessori
Hands to Mind Montessori was created to provide thoughtful, classroom-tested materials that support children’s natural curiosity and love of learning. Each resource is designed with Montessori principles in mind, encouraging independence, concentration, and hands-on discovery.
The materials shared here grow out of real classroom experience and are designed to be simple, practical, and meaningful for both Montessori educators and homeschool families.
The Story Behind the Materials
Many of the materials available here were first created to meet the needs of children in a Montessori classroom. When a lesson required something new — a way to practice phonetic reading, explore early math concepts, or understand the world around them — new materials were developed to support that work.
Over time, these classroom resources grew into a collection of activities that help children build foundational skills while experiencing the joy of purposeful work.

Real Classroom Experience
The materials available through Hands to Mind Montessori are developed through daily work in a Montessori environment serving children ages 3–6. Each activity is first tested in the classroom before being shared with other educators and families.
